LAHORE: Acting on a tip-off, Lahore CTD raide

Quaid-e-Azam Interchange Ring Road Lahore and arrested two militants, allegedly belonging to banned organisation.
They were planning to attack law agencies’ personnel in Lahore. The militants are identified as Qari Ahmad and Muhammad Israr Shafiq. Both were planning to leave for Syria after conducting their at
tack.
The Team recovered an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) and hand grenad
es from th
eir possession, along with Daesh motivation literature.
A case was registered and investigation is underway.
