SEHWAN: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah deplored the treatment of Sehwan blast
victims, and said that those who threw body parts of the blast
victims by a drain will be dealt with an iron fist.
While speaking to media on Sunday morning during his visit to the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, the chief minister said he was ashamed of the way the remains of the blast
victims were treated.
Murad Ali Shah also expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of 88 people and said that this was the time to unite and fight terrorists. He further added that all the necessary facilities will be provided to those injured in the blast at the shrine.
Furthermore, the chief minister admitted that fe
male police constables should
have been deployed at the shrine.
On Saturday, it was reported the remains of blast
victims were left out in the open by a drain in the city. The issue surfaced after lo
cals complained of smell rising from the decomposing human remains. However, the deputy commissioner of Jamshoro denied this, saying he personally looked over the collection of remains from the blast site and their shifting to hospitals.
